ABOUT

Ballahowe is located in the beautiful area of Coghills Creek, just north of Ballarat.  This location is not only a wonderful environment for raising young horses but a central location for equestrian competition.  Set amongst lush lucerne and potato fields, wide verges and rolling hills provide a great fitness base for horses to be schooled out of.  Close to some of Victorias best cross country facilities Ballahowe is ready to produce horses for the future.

Yona Lloyd

Yona has produced 5* horse Sergeant Crisp, multiiple horses to 4* level including Rivendell Heritage, Roadshark & Spenser Street. 2* horses including Springfield Fergus, Calypso Summer, Ballahowe Serengetti (previously & now  known as GV Serengetti) & Ballahowe Connor, and has taken to 1* level Icarus Frosty, Tornado Two Step, Royal Honour, Ellesmere Amici, Ballahowe Jollimont & Ballahowe Artic. 

4* Ballahowe Paramount 3* Alby Talkative, 3* Ballahowe Osprey, 2*Ballahowe Wildside.  Currently he partners 3*Ballahowe Ayurvedic, Carlyle Park Bravo 2*, Icarus Gwen 95, Ballahowe Skyfall 95, Ballahowe Cruising ev80 and the 3 youngsters Mischief Managed To Day, Ballahowe Erised and Ballahowe Aquamente.

Nina Lloyd

Nina moved from eventing at Pre novice level to pursue straight dressage in 2000.  Since then she has brought on many horses to elementary/medium level including Sokoto, Ballahowe Vertigo, Ballahowe Airwave, Ballahowe Navigator, Wilcree Archelaus, Wandoo Mitchell, Springfield Fergus, Ballahowe Connor, Ballahowe Fortuno & Ballahowe TT. Taking the difficult Burrendah Jack Daniels (now known as Twins Quantum) to Advanced level stood her in good steed to educate young horses now bred by Ballahowe. 

Nina's new passion is bit fitting, she brings not only training in Fager, Bomber, Neule Schule and Springer bit but a wealth of knowledge from training horses using the ESI system,
